Saturday 13 June saw the return on the Fun Ferns on Trust Aoraki Court 8 – the 5-6 year olds at 10-10.30 and the 7-8 year olds at 10.30-11.15. 

It was a hive of activity and smiles (as you can see from the photos!) and NSC welcome aboard Juliet Waud who is presenting the programme this season.

The programme runs until 4 July and then resumes from 25 July to 15 August.  All are welcome and no fee is charged.

Kelsi Patterson, Geraldine High A Premier player and trialist for the NZ Secondary Schools team this year, attended the Junior Development Programme last week to assist with coaching the squad alongside Programme Co-ordinators Steph Waud and Clare Smolinski.  There was a lot of laughter combined with hard drills and the girls all came away knowing they had had a training session! 

Thanks go to Trust Aoraki for assistance with funding the programme and Kelsi for imparting her knowledge to these year 7 & 8 girls.
