NSC U16 Rep Teams

The purpose of Netball South Canterbury's Representative programme is to empower the netball community by providing accessible devlopment and extension opportunities to sustain a lifelong involvement and love of  netball.

Trials are open to all players that meet the player eligibility requirements in NSC Representative Programme Policies and Procedures.  Players will be advised when trial registrations open each year via our social media pages and through their club/school.

Competitive tournament opportunites vary year to year and information will be made available each year when trials open.

2026 Tupuranga Championship | 30 May - 1 June 2026

The Tupuranga tournament is an annual event co-hosted by Mid Canterbury Netball and Christchurch Netball Centre .  In 2026 this tournament is being held at the Nga Puna Wai Netball Centre in Christchurch over Kings Birthday Weekend.

In 2025 tournament saw 23 U16 representative teams from throughout the South Island take part, including both our U16 teams who played seven games each over three days.  Results of the tournament can be found here.  A huge congratulations to all our players for proudly representing South Canterbury. A big thank you as well to our dedicated coaches and management team for your guidance, support, and commitment throughout the journey.


2026 U16 Trials

Trials will be at the Stadium on Morgans Road  on the following dates:

Sunday, 12th April 2026 - 9.00am -11.00am

Saturday, 18th April 2026 - 10.00am - 12.00pm

It is expected trialists attend all trials, dispensations will be granted at the discretion of the coach in consultation with NSC.  Trialists must attend a minimum of one trial.
